Helmet Laws

Larry Wall and Tina Huntington want to make sure the lucky one is fully informed of all of the laws in the United States. That is why we have posted the Governors Highway Safety Association’s November 2014 link to HELMET LAWS. There are only three states that have no helmet laws. Those states are Illinois, Iowa, and New Hampshire.
Kansas Helmet Laws
Now here is the law for Kansas. While motorcycle helmets are strongly encouraged, helmets are only legally required in Kansas for those 18 years old and younger. Bicycle helmets are only legally required for riders under 15 years old who live in Lawrence.
